Product Overview
The G3 series refines the Wedge design to give brass players even more control over their setup.
Asymmetrical Dual Orientation: The top and bottom rims feature slightly different shapes, giving you two distinct rim profiles in a single mouthpiece.
Next-Gen G3 Geometry: Designed with a slightly narrower rim and a more pronounced vertical oval than the G2 models for increased efficiency and response.
Customizable Playing Feel: Highly adaptable to your unique embouchure. While playable in either direction, most players prefer positioning the wider rim at the top and the orientation dot facing down.
Characteristics - The Gabriel line of mouthpiece tops was designed for our original endorsing artist, Vancouver performer and producer Gabriel Hasselbach. Gabriel plays exclusively Wedge mouthpieces on trumpet and flugelhorn.
Harrison mouthpieces worked with Gabriel to design a special mouthpiece to his own specifications. The Gabriel has the following features:
- * Based on 10.5 cushion rim with increased OD for added comfort.
- * Extra wide shoulders on lateral rim.
- * Reduced (0.015") lateral dip for more even distribution of pressure around the circumference of the rim.
- The Gabriel Jazz has the Gabriel rim and a medium C cup, similar in depth to a Bach 3C. This mouthpiece has a medium-large backbore and #25 throat.
