Bach - Wedge Trumpet Mouthpiece Comparisons

  • Bach mouthpieces are inconsistent between samples of the same size
  • Many players using large sizes (1-1.25 Bach rim) do very well downsizing to a Wedge 67 rim with no loss of sound or flexibility
  • Cup depths and rim sizes do not always follow a logical sequence (5C and 7C are deeper than a 3C)
  • Depth measured at .04 inches into the cup
