Product Overview
The Wedge tuba mouthpiece line was developed with the assistance of Sasha Johnson of the National Ballet Orchestra of Canada. The H2 is based on a Schilke Helleberg II mouthpiece with slight modifications to the cup and a Wedge rim.The H2 retains a very similar feel to the Schilke, but provides improved core and clarity in the sound along with a more even response in all registers and better flexibility. The cup has a deep funnel shape, providing a dark, round sound that still has excellent projection when desired.
The H2 is available with the usual American shank or the larger Euro shank used on some larger instruments.
