This backbore has signs of usage, such as insertion marks, scratches or small dings. These markings are purely cosmetic and this mouthpiece functions exactly like a brand new backbore.
Wedge two part backbores consist of an upper section, which can be regular or heavy weight, and a lower shank that can be of different lengths to adjust the gap, or for improving the pitch on a C trumpet. The two part systems provided great versatility in adjusting the backbore to your specific needs.

***The throat on this backbore has been opened to #25 , .1495 inches - a larger throat for more open blow, choose a #25 throat if your mouthpiece feels stuffy with too much resistance, and you are an advanced player with good breath support.
