CarolBrass CPT-3000-GLS-Bb-L (Clear Lacquer)
The CarolBrass Pocket Trumpet has earned a reputation as one of the best pocket trumpets on the market. The CPT-3000-GLS has a full sized gold brass bell that accepts conventional mutes. The horn is very versatile. It sounds like a trumpet with a medium or shallow mouthpiece and more like a cornet with a deep mouthpiece. When played with a Wedge flugel top and trumpet shank it sounds almost like a flugel. It has a huge sound for such a compact horn and the pitch is excellent. It even has a working first and third valve side to adjust pitch. This horn is just plain fun to play, and sounds great.
