The 104G is similar in size and playing characteristics to a Bach 3G. It is a popular orchestral mouthpiece for those with a strong embouchure who want a big sound. It is also an excellent euphonium mouthpiece with the large shank or baritone mouthpiece with the small shank option. The 104G has a .280 throat.
