Brass 103 Series Large Shank Mouthpieces

*Please Note: All series listed below are also available in Small Shank, Medium (European) Shank, and Remington Shank. If you need a Medium (European) Shank or Remington Shank, please add that comment to the order notes at checkout.

103G
The 103G is similar in size and playing characteristics to a Bach 4G. It is a popular orchestral mouthpiece for those with a strong embouchure who want a big sound. It is also an excellent euphonium mouthpiece with the large shank or baritone mouthpiece with the small shank option.

The 103G has an ID of 1.03 inches and a .280 throat.

103GS
The 103GS combines the ID of a 103G (similar to a Bach 4G, Schilke 52, DE 103, Yamaha 52, Denis Wick 4AL) with a slightly shallower GS cup, similar to a Bach 5GS. It is an excellent choice for a player who wants a larger diameter than the 5GS without giving up the greater brilliance, projection, and ease of upper register provided by the GS cup.

The 103GS has an ID of 1.03 inches and a .270 throat.
