The G3 series refines the Wedge design to give brass players even more control over their setup.
Asymmetrical Dual Orientation: The top and bottom rims feature slightly different shapes, giving you two distinct rim profiles in a single mouthpiece.
Next-Gen G3 Geometry: Designed with a slightly narrower rim and a more pronounced vertical oval than the G2 models for increased efficiency and response.
Customizable Playing Feel: Highly adaptable to your unique embouchure. While playable in either direction, most players prefer positioning the wider rim at the top and the orientation dot facing down.

- Inner Diameter: .650 inches measured .04 inches into the cup
- Outer Diameter: 1.09 inches
- Cup Depth: MDV (Medium Deep V) cup (similar to a Bach 1 1/2 C or 5C, Warburton MD, regular Schilke, or Yamaha C cup, but with a slightly more V shaped transition into the throat)
- Produces a large, dark orchestral sound, which is a little darker than the MD
- Backbore: Best used on an ML (Medium-Large) backbore which can be purchased here
Acclimatization:
- Acclimatization time varies
- Most players find full adjustment to the new rim shape is only a few days
- Most players are able to alternate between a Wedge rim and conventional rim, if desired
- Vast majority of players will convert all of their mouthpieces to the Wedge design due to its obvious advantages once adapted
