- Characteristics - The Pierobon C2 is the signature mouthpiece of Marco Pierobon of the Gomalan Brass. It is was based on a Reeves 43.5CX. The rim has an ID of .662 and an OD of 1.12. The throat can be #27 or #25. The backbore is ML.
- The C2 differs slightly from the original Pierobon C,which has a rim shape with slightly less Wedge shape than the C2. The original version was flatter. The C2 is what Marco now plays and will provide the best performance for most players.
- Acclimatization - Acclimatization time varies, but most players find they have fully adjusted to the new rim shape within a few days. Most players are able to alternate between a Wedge rim and conventional rim, although the vast majority of players will convert all of their mouthpieces to the Wedge design because of its obvious advantages once they have adapted.
