Similar to Wedge 65S, but with a slightly more V shaped cup - Excellent choice for a lead mouthpiece to complement a Bach 1-1/2C, Bach 3C, or similar “legit” mouthpiece. Also a great choice for piccolo trumpet, for which it was originally designed.
Hybrid mouthpieces are made from a 3D printed 65% ceramic medical grade polymer that is permanently bonded to a brass base. The polymer is more durable than acrylic, feels smoother and less grippy than acrylic, and produces a sound very similar to, but slightly warmer than brass. Most players find ceramic material more comfortable than brass, and like the way it always feels warm on the chops.

- Excellent projection, slightly less support in upper register than the ES cup
- Less prone to bottoming out than the ES cup
- Excellent for lead when a solid mid to low register is also desired
- Works well for piccolo trumpet when a brighter sound with more projection is desired
- Surprisingly good low register for an extra shallow lead mouthpiece

- The Wedge rim produces a much better lower register than comparable mouthpieces of this cup depth - low range sounds more like a Bach 3C then it does like a lead mouthpiece
