This acrylic top pairs perfectly with a stainless steel heavy back bore that I use for pops, lead and jazz work. The stainless steel gives it an added unique sound characteristic added to sound over brass and paired with the acrylic offers clean attacks and allows you to play soft with a warm tone. If you are looking for something different to add to your options in your playing, I recommend this set up! -Roger L.
