Characteristics - The Gen 108G is similar to a Bach 1-1/2G, but with a wider, more comfortable rim. The ID of the 108G is 1.08 inches, measured at .05 inches into the cup. The .280 throat size is a good choice for players wanting a more focused sound with better upper register support.
Note: Some bass trombones, for example some vintage King models, have an extra deep receiver. If your mouthpiece inserts more than 1.25 inches (31 mm) into your leadpipe be sure to select the BT Deep Receiver option when ordering bass trombone mouthpieces.
